Dr. McMahon was born in Castroville, Texas and grew up in San Antonio. She graduated cum laude as an Honors Program graduate from St. Mary’s University in 1992 and from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School in 1996. She completed a 3 year residency in family medicine at the Memorial Family Practice Residency Program in Houston, Texas in 1999. Dr. McMahon has been board-certified in family medicine since 2000. She worked for the University Health System in San Antonio for 10 years where she served as a clinical assistant professor and taught medical students before joining her current practice. She has been a part of the Pasteur Medical Associates team since July 2012. She believes in patient-centered medical care and has a special interest in women’s health and preventive medicine. She enjoys cooking, trips to the gulf coast, taking walks and spending time with her husband and 3 children.
