Jessica Vazquez, MD

Dr. Jessica Vazquez grew up in Texas since she was 2 years old and is a San Antonio native. She attended local Health Careers High School, obtained her Bachelors of Science in biology with minors in chemistry and instrumental music from San Antonio’s St. Mary’s University in 2008, and graduated medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2013.

She completed 3 years of internal medicine residency at University of Tyler/Good Shepherd Medical Center Longview located in east Texas in 2016, where she served as chief resident. During her residency, she received awards for Primary Care Resident of the Year and Chief Resident Award. One of her noteworthy achievements in residency was her involvement in the development of the residency’s program Patient Centered Medical Home.

Upon her return to San Antonio in 2017, Dr. Vazquez joined iMED Medical Associates and worked for the Methodist Healthcare System. In 2022, she joined Pasteur Medical Associates and transitioned to concierge medicine.

Dr. Vazquez is board certified in Internal Medicine. She focuses on comprehensive care, including wellness/preventive medicine and women’s health. Dr. Vazquez enjoys helping her patients achieve optimal health, understand their diseases/ailments as they arise, and discussing treatment options.

Dr. Vazquez is an attending preceptor for University of the Incarnate Word Osteopathic School of Medicine, where she enjoys teaching medical students. She is an active member of American College of Physician (ACP), American Medical Association (AMA), Texas Medical Association (TMA) and Bexar County Medical Society. Her interests include spending time with her family, playing the piano and watching movies.
